The Pleasure of Healing
Creating Sacred Space
A Home within a Home
If I could, I’d give every woman a sacred space. A corner in her bedroom to call her own where the door is closed to the world and open to hers.
A home within a home to routinely return and remember.
A sacred space created as a blessing. Would you open to receive?
And now my daughter, I bless you with a pause, a sigh of release.
Where do you breathe easy?
Where the breath is easy the heart is open.
A deep sigh clears you out and bring you back in. The rhythm of the breath, the routine of the morning, the ritual of returning to a sense of home, secure belonging within.
In this womb-like place of receiving nurturance, your whole system settles in calm. Connected, what is needed arises naturally, creatively, and with clarity.
The pleasure of a pause brings comfort so you can go through uncomfortable places with less resistance.
Comfort ’to strengthen’.
Sitting in my bedroom chair is my sacred space.
Sacred not serious. It is sensuous.
The sound of silence, the touch of softness, the taste of open space.
In the morning hour, I re-member. I heal by sitting.
The morning brings me back together. (To get her)
From my morning chair…two flames
The tall taper represents the One who holds all.
The votive represents my self.
I offer my flame to be seen.
I open to receive sacred love.
Catching a glimpse of my chair I hear quiet,
the blown out flame lights a fire within.
What do you wish for?
Remember when you blew out the candles and were told ‘make a wish!’
A wish is often unspoken and pondered in the heart. It is yours alone. Set the tone for your wish by Creating Sacred Space in your home.
With intention bring in natural objects thoughtfully selected in the spirit of carrying you forward on your path.
Giving and receiving in reciprocity we are changed by the spirit of the sacred space interacting with us.
